Use Your VA Benefits for In-Home Care

Veteran's Community Care Program

The Veterans Community Care Program (VCCP or VCC), managed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), allows eligible Veterans to receive care from community providers outside the VA healthcare system.

Qualifying veterans can use the program to fully or partially cover their care depending on the number of hours allotted by the VA. This program is based on health concerns and income is not taken into consideration for eligibility. Harmony at Home Senior Care is a VA certified provider and member of the Veteran Affairs Community Care Network (CCN) in Texas for Dallas-Ft. Worth and the surrounding counties.

Veteran's Aid & Attendance Program

The Veterans Aid and Attendance (A&A) Program
is an additional monetary benefit provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to eligible veterans and their surviving spouses who require assistance with daily living due to disability or aging. To qualify, the veteran or surviving spouse must meet both service requirements and care-related criteria.

This benefit is supplemental to the VA Pension or Survivor Pension and can be used along side the Veteran’s Community Cares Program (VCC or VCCP) to pay for care.

What is Veteran's Community Care and will it pay for my care?

The Veteran's Community Care Program (VCCP or VCC), managed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), allows eligible Veterans to receive care from community providers outside the VA healthcare system. Qualifying Veterans can use the program to fully or partially cover their care depending on the number of hours allotted by the VA.
